Extremely unreliable pharmacy. Dealing with mental health concerns is difficult enough without having to deal with such a poorly run pharmacy. Calls are never answered and it is always a process to get any medication filled.

There’s a female pharmacist that shouldn’t be in the medical profession, that’s working here, as many others noted. The other pharmacists are mostly ok (1, is pleasant & understanding). If you try and call to have a question answered you need to dedicate 20+ mins & a glass of wine to keep you patient. Avoid unless absolutely necessary. If you come here on the weekends — forget about it!! - save yourself the struggle.

The male pharmacist who helped me today was very condescending. I don’t know what his deal was, but it’s like he had just decided before I even spoke that he didn’t like me. I went in for my vaccine booster and flu shot. When I tried to hand him my ID with my insurance card, per the instructions in my appointment confirmation email, he said he didn’t need my ID and didn’t even glance at it. That was disconcerting. Shouldn’t he be verifying I am who I say I am before charging anything to my insurance? Then he said that he needed a prescription card rather than an insurance card from me. I don’t have a prescription card because my provider has never issued me one. He acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about and then asked me if I had any previous addresses that my insurance might have on file for me. I gave him my old address, and he was able to pull up my prescription coverage that way. So I guess he didn’t need me to provide a separate prescription card after all? I looked it up when I got home and because my RXBIN is listed on the back of my insurance card, he should have had all the information he needed from what I gave him. No apology though for the mistake of course. The rest of my interaction with him was equally upsetting. Love this Harris Teeter, but save yourself the frustration. Go to any pharmacy but this one.

Excellent salad bar... food was fresh and staff was polite and helpful to help those of us from out of town figure out the self service kiosk. We will be back for dinner!
