My core is so strong because of the exercises. Helps so much with tight hips due to prolonged sitting.
Went to this location maybe a year or two ago and had no issues. This Friday I signed up for the 4:30 pm class and arrived about 10 minutes beforehand to find the doors locked and no one working the desk. The teacher didn’t arrive until about 4:42 or so and then proceeded to teach the class like nothing happened. In talking to others there, apparently this happens all the time. I was disappointed the owner didn’t offer us at least a class credit or something (if a student arrives 10 minutes late, we’d lose our credit but apparently it doesn’t work both ways…) Wouldn’t recommend this location, go to any of the other locations in DC instead!
BEWARE. This location is owned by Will Beale, the same owner of the Georgetown location, where I'm having the following experience:
Please read this before you consider giving this business your credit card information. I'm a fan of Club Pilates and did it for years at other locations, but the management in these two franchises has complete contempt for customers. I have a recurring membership and needed to cancel it because I moved out of state. You can't cancel on the website so I called about a month ago and was told staff can't cancel it either, only the owner himself can do it and he's very unresponsive even to his staff (by their own admission). I e-mailed requesting the cancellatiom in writing and weeks passed with no response. Finally this weekend I was charged again for my monthly membership. I've called multiple times daily to complain, request they process the cancellation and refund the latest charge, and management has yet to directly aknowledge any of those communications. Yesterday they finally sent me a form I have to fill out to "submit my 30 day notice, understanding I'll be charged for the next cycle", when I first requested to cancell in writing in February and have already been charged again since. Please think twice before having your credit card information kept hostage and being charged with no ability to cancel, and absolutely no accountability from anyone
DO NOT GO HERE. This studio has the shadiest business practices I've encountered in DC.
1. Went to a "Summer Closeout" schedule with a significantly reduced class schedule, and initially did not offer any membership refunds, pauses, or alternatives until they were inundated with emails
2. Instructors have no-showed on 3 separate occasions, and I've had 5+ classes cancelled with less than 12 hrs notice
3. The membership requires a 31-day cancellation notice
4. I disputed a charge with my credit card company due to #1 and #2, then they notified me I was past due with TWO late fees while my CC company was still investigating the dispute

When I first joined this studio about a year and a half ago, it was well managed and had a reliable schedule of classes with good instructors (eg Caitlin, Jean, Keirsten) and a good variety of classes. However, since late last year, the quality has fallen off a cliff - instructor shortages, classes being canceled with extremely short notice (as an example, I had four classes canceled in a week), no effort to offer reimbursement or compensation for canceled classes, etc.
They also lock you in to 30 days before you’re able to cancel the membership - with the rate of canceled classes they are essentially robbing you for 30 days while you’re locked into the membership but unable to use all your credits. Zero accountability or acknowledgment of inconvenience and monetary loss incurred due to canceled classes, zero flexibility with membership cancelation policy despite not being able to use credits due to canceled classes and bad schedules.
