Black & Kletz Allergy (also known as Yuill Black, MD and Michael R. Kletz, MD, P.C.) is an Allergy and Immunology practice consisting of two board certified allergists, Michael R. Kletz, MD and Appaji Gondi, MD. We have three offices in the Washington, D.C metropolitan area with two offices located in Northern Virginia and one office in northwest Washington, D.C.

- NANadya AllyJan 14, 20263.0My dermatologist recommended I take an allergy test. When I went to Black & Kletz in August, Dr. Kletz (who was very kind, professional and humorous) said I didn't need one. He explained my condition was hives and an allergy test would be a "waste of time." I asked him if I needed to make any payments or stop by the front desk before leaving. He said no. 4 months later I received a bill. I called the office, explained what happened, and they said I still need to pay. This is not a proper way to run a clinic. Edit as of 1.16.26: Yesterday I rated this office with 1-star. I am updating my review after someone from the clinic called me to get a better understanding of my experience. She was very kind and attentive. I appreciate the follow-up and further explanation.

LOOK AT THE DATES OF PICTURES TAKEN YOU WILL SEE AS OF LAST WEEK AN EMPLOYEE EVEN TOOK A PICTURE AND THE SERUM IS STILL EXPIRED!! HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS ONLY MONEY!! HE HAS BEEN CAUGHT BILLING PATIENTS FOR SERVICES THEY DIDN‘T COMPLETE!! HE PREPS CHARTS DAYS TO WEEKS BEFORE AN APPOINTMENT SIGNING, DATING, AND FILLING OUT INFORMATION AS IF HE KNOWS THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS BEFORE HE ACTUALLY SEE YOU!! HE WILL DENY YOU PRESCRIPTIONS IF YOU DON‘T MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WHEN HE FEELS YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND ONCE YOU MAKE THE APPOINTMENT HE ONLY SEES YOU FOR FIVE MINUTES!! A WASTE OF TIME!!
- DGDana GansmanAug 18, 20205.0I have been a patient of Dr. Kletz and Dr. Gondi for 2+ years now, and they have taken excellent care of me and my complex medical issues! I am immunocompromised with a variety of allergy/upper respiratory issues, and they always ensure I am clear on what to do to manage my symptoms and starting shots was a game changer after being a life long allergy sufferer. The nurses and front desk staff are lovely and make sure that patients feel welcome, and I even enjoy seeing the "regulars" around the office when we are all there for shots! Especially in the changing COVID-19 environment, they have been transparent and helpful to patients. If you are an allergy or asthma sufferer, they will take care of you!

- BPBe PositiveFeb 12, 20191.0This clinic is HORRIBLE! honestly, i've been taking my injections there( and i even stopped) , the receptionist was very unprofessional and rude! she has been charging me for WRONG dates that SHE failed to document correctly, i even figured out one day that she transferred a payed amount from my account to another patients account, and then rudely told me that i have not payed anything! that when i REMINDED her that i already did my payment, and for my luck i was keeping the receipt! that THEY DO NOT HAVE A copy of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unbelievably unprofessional, they messed up all my papers and receipts, even the management when i complained to them they said they needed to train their staff more! extremely unprofessional and horrible staff! if they can not manage properly, then they must close this PRIVATE clinic, do not just make money out of people! i repeat i DO NOT ADVICE ANY ONE TO GO THERE! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
