This is so weird. The door was unlocked at 9 AM which is when they're open today. Came inside the urgent care to absolutely no staff. I called the AllCare main line/headquarters and they're also trying to call the location and manager. I can hear the phone ringing over and over again but again, there's absolutely no staff. The person on the line is telling me they should be open because there was no notes or indication about them being closed today. I'm still on the line with them. Super unprofessional. If it's closed, the doors should've been locked. Not sure if someone forgot to lock up last night but either way it says it's open today at 9 AM. It's now 9:20. Still no staff to be seen. My throat is swollen shut though and I'm just waiting for the person on the line to tell me what to do. Update. Now 9:35 AM and still no progress. Still on the phone with the main line as I'm sitting in the main wait.

Not an urgent care facility even though it’s listed as immediate care

I have been a patient at this office for the past 5 years and have never had an issue until this experience. I called ahead to ask about a walk-in for an urgent concern and was left on hold for over 30 minutes before being sent to voicemail. Thinking the office was just busy, I went in person to ask if I could be seen. I was immediately denied without any real consideration. I explained that I have been a consistent patient of Dr. Adams for the past 5 years and do not live nearby, yet still make the effort to come here for my care. That did not matter. I then asked for any availability within the next few days and made it clear I was flexible. Instead, I was offered an appointment 8 days out on a date the receptionist already knew I could not attend, with no attempt to accommodate. What made this worse was that there was only one person in the waiting room. As a fellow physician in training, who has also worked in primary care for years, I find it hard to believe that the clinic schedule was at capacity given there was only one person in the lobby when I walked in. Yet there was zero effort to help a long standing patient with an urgent issue. If a patient cannot be seen by their primary care physician of 5 years for something urgent and is immediately told to go to urgent care, it raises serious concerns about how this office operates. To be clear, I have never had an issue with Dr. Adams personally. This review is strictly about the front desk experience, which was dismissive, unhelpful, and unacceptable. I can only imagine how other patients are treated in similar situations.

Would give this place zero stars if I could. I had an appointment for 10:30 and did not see the doctor until 11:30 even though there was only one other patient in the office. The doctor was nice enough but he prescribed me z-pack for an ear infection which I subsequently learned is not standard of care for an ear infection because I had to go back to another doctor after it has not healed to get augmentin, which is standard of care…He also sent the Rx to the wrong pharmacy so I had to go back to the office to get the prescription because no one answered the phone. Avoid!
