  I’ve been a customer at many CT Stop and Shop Pharmacies. In comparison, WLFD location does not fill your prescription until you arrive at the counter. I chalk that up to the amount of people they must serve on a daily basis. I’ve learned to work around that and shop the store while I wait. In recent weeks my Dr. called in a prescription. I tried calling the store from home giving them a 1/2 hour notice of my arrival ( bc the nature of my health condition was not conducive for shopping the store that day). When I arrived I was asked to wait while they filled it. The phone call did not work. And my new wait time was awarded an additional 1/2 hour bc the pickup line extended all the way down the bread isle. My point is other SnS are more reliable then WLFD.

  About ten years ago, I was getting the run around from the major mail-order pharmacy my insurance pushes. I asked the Stop & Shop Pharmacy if they could contact my doctor and switch me over. Ever since then, I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of customer care I have received. I have found their service to be not only perfectly efficient but also extremely pleasant and enjoyable to work with. Recently, my doctor was trying to find a new medication for me. Upon arrival at the pharmacy, I was told the cost of the medication (new to market) was very high. But the staff had already started working on finding cost savings for me. They asked me to give them a few minutes and to come back. When I returned, they had found a coupon for me cutting the cost of the medication by almost $500. I really cannot say enough great things about the staff at this location. In addition, their phone system and a monthly automatic refill is beyond easy to work with. As my medications do not change often, all I have to do now is check my text reminders and pick up my monthly orders. They handle everything else.
