I love this place! Such good service, great selection of frames and helpful staff. Sofia, Tish and Chris were excellent. I highly recommend this place for all your vision needs.

Working with Calvin made choosing frames and the appropriate lens as easy as could be. My husband and I breezed through the process. He gave us the best deal explaining our benefits. I would recommend LensCrafters but be sure to get Calvin!

I visited Lends Crafters in the Stamford mall on 4/2/26 for the first time and was honestly very disappointed with the experience. I came in looking for a specific item, but I was open to guidance since it was my first visit. When I entered, there were three employees present and no other customers. Two were chatting with each other, and another was organizing glasses. The only employee who acknowledged me (I’ll refer to her as the one with curly hair) greeted me, but her demeanor felt abrupt and unwelcoming. She showed me the item I asked about, but immediately walked away without asking any follow-up questions or offering assistance. When I tried to get her attention again, she was curt and came across as condescending. There was no effort to understand what I needed or help me explore options. After being dismissed a second time, I decided to leave. I had fully intended to purchase three pairs of glasses, but the lack of basic customer service made me uncomfortable spending any money there. Unfortunately, this was a very poor first impression. Customer service matters, especially when there are no other customers to attend to. A terrible experience!

I have been a customer of Lens Crafters for several years. I have never encountered any issues with its products. They definitely provide high quality services. The customer service team is always very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
