I had a bad experience in LensCrafters in Stamford on Oct 8,2025. I walked into the store, no one greeted me but waiting until I was leaving to ask if I needed help. Which was weird because there wasn’t a lot of customers in the store. So I made a complaint online and was told to come in to get a 50 credit by the store manager Sofia on any glasses. I go into the store on Nov 4,2025 and tried on the Ray-bans meta sunglasses. Which I love so I purchased them but the manager wasn’t in and I was told they will leave her a message with all my information so she can refund me the difference. I had to call the store servals time before I could get a hold of Sofia. She first gives me a price of 350.00 for the glasses and then I told her I already purchased the glasses . I would just need the difference from the credit I was owed. Then she goes oh for some reason I can’t do it. After all that she then informed me her manager told her the discount can’t be used on meta. I wasn’t told from the start it couldn’t be used on certain things. So I was very disappointed and when I asked why I wasn’t told from the start. Than I was told I can purchase something else to get the credit. Unfortunately I don’t want to purchase nothing else. Terrible customer service experience.

Sofia and Calvin were both very professional and expert in what they do. I highly suggest LensCrafters at the Stamford mall.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
