    Very frustrating experience. I had a 12:00 PM appointment and was still waiting at 12:38 PM. Staff said there’s a waiting list, which defeats the purpose of scheduling an appointment. There should be better time management or communication about delays.

    I made a 12:15 appointment on line, when I got to AFC around noon, I was informed by the receptionist that all visits there that day would be virtual. I was a little shocked, but I had already completed all my paperwork online, gave them all my info, drivers license and insurance before I even got there. I decided to stay since I didn’t want to start all over with another walk in. I was then told they would send a link to my cell phone. I had to do the appointment from my own phone. I was getting aggravated. I was called in and she took my vitals, sample, and put me in a room. I had my phone connected waiting for the provider to connect until a little after 1:00. He spent maybe three minutes with me and that was it. He was working in another location seeing patients and doing virtual visits in between. This was beyond frustrating, and I feel very unprofessional. At the very least, they should have an iPad for patients to use, I shouldn’t have to use my little phone when I went to the office! I would like to say the two women working there were very nice and professional. I just think this is an awful way to operate an urgent care office! They shouldn’t even have allowed appointments to be made on line, they should have said virtual only so I could have done it from home on my computer or gone to see a dr. in person. I felt sorry for the women working, it was an awful situation. Maybe they should have just closed for the day of they didn’t have a dr.
