Still, I go every six months for a cleaning and as necessary for any dental work that may need doing. The distance from home to my previous dentist, whom I absolutely adored, became too far once the practice moved to Old Saybrook so I began the daunting task of finding a dentist closer to home and crossed my fingers that I'd find a practice I could become comfortable with. Enter Stonington Dental Associates. I had hopes; though they weren't really very high simply because the dentist isn't high on my list of places to go. Well, they knocked those expectations right out of the park! From Lisa at reception (and her sidekick Bella) to Laura and Stephanie and then Dr. Wnuk! I cannot say enough wonderful things about them and the office. Their overall friendliness was outstanding but it was greatly surpassed by their knowledge, confidence and ability to explain things to me in a clear manner. The office is small but, please, don't let the size put you off! The office was clean, the staff were all marvelously kind and patient. My teeth felt wonderfully clean afterwards and my follow-up for some dental issues was easily scheduled and I'm actually looking forward to the visit. If you're in the market for a new Dental practice....heck, even if you're not in the market; I so very highly recommend this practice to you! You won't be disappointed!
