Last year at my annual appointment, I scheduled another for this August. Like normal, I received a confirmation email the week before. However, when I arrived at the SoNo Lenscrafters last week, they informed me that I had no appointment in the system. They then realized that my doctor had left the state and no longer works at this practice, which I didn't know and was never told. So not only did my appointment never happen, but my doctor left the practice and I was never informed (and I even got a confirmation email!) I am so disappointed. I was in dire need of contacts. I'm thankful that another doctor at another place was able to take me. A few days later, I then received an email stating that I was missed at my appointment that I apparently never showed up too. I understand that things happen, but PLEASE check your system so your patients aren't showing up for an appointment with a doctor who is no longer there. I traveled far from work and ended up having to call out the rest of the day because of this mishap.
