- XXXeniNov 7, 20252.0I use PF gyms around the country and this is a neglect ignored gym. 1- They haven’t bothered to upgrade from 10 years ago. You cannot scan your QR code the apologetic worker has to take your phone number. 2- the mats are torn. 3- One of each of the 2 Leg quad/hamstring machines are stuck and cannot adjust them, they are broken or about to break. The machines haven’t been oiled. They’ve been neglected. The cleaning stations get empty. The gym is otherwise clean and the workers work hard. The neglect is coming from the top.
- JJJenOct 29, 20251.0I have been to several Planet Fitness locations and unfortunately the New Britain location is by far the worst I’ve seen. Many of the machines are broken and/or haven’t been maintained therefore they do not function properly. There are only about 4-5 mats which are torn or broken in some way. This location has not upgraded to the new business model which is to incorporate more strength training equipment and free weights. The locker rooms are clean but the gym itself is not. If I had to guess the tanning beds bulbs have not been replaced for quite some time. As an avid gym goer I wish I had something positive to say but unfortunately I don’t.
