I had a very upsetting experience at this location with my 2.5-year-old son.
The staff member (Chandra) was rude and visibly frustrated from the beginning. This was already a stressful situation—getting blood work for a toddler—and instead of making it easier, she made it much worse. She raised her voice and did not show patience or care.
She attempted to draw blood from both of my son’s arms. The first attempt failed, which I understand can happen. However, the second attempt was done in a forceful manner and clearly caused him significant pain. He was crying intensely, and the situation felt out of control. Instead of helping calm things down, her attitude made everything more tense.
She also blamed the failed draw on my child “not drinking water,” which was incorrect—he had eaten and had fluids before the appointment. At no point did she ask about his preparation.
As a parent, I felt unsupported, blamed, and honestly unsafe in that moment. Staff working with children should have proper training in how to handle pediatric patients with patience and care. This experience was far from acceptable.
I hope this location takes this seriously and improves how they treat families and young children.
It was easy to schedule an appointment online. The staff is very good about keeping to the schedule. They are knowledgeable, courteous, thoughtful, and professional. They answer any question you may have. I think the Quest I went to in Marlborough, CT. has great customer service.

So extremely rude. The sign in process does NOT state check in protocol for guardians checking in a child. The phlebotomist was SO rude. She berated me for a simple error that was NOT clear on the quest check in screen. She spent the blood draw asking when “you people will learn how to read”. The abrasive manner made my 9 year old uncomfortable. Completely unnecessary and unacceptable.

Should have read reviews first!
My doctor scheduled a blood test through this office and as soon as I was in the door Chandra was berating me for things I had no control over, like a lack of paperwork. If my doctor didn’t communicate with their office and they couldn’t help me, I understand, but to be scolded like a five year old for things beyond my control is unacceptable. I have actually met a serial killer, and he had more empathy than Chandra. If you told me I had a 25% chance of survival without going in for a blood test with Chandra, I’d roll the dice on that 25%.
