I’ve been getting a 50 mn session every week with Blad. He’s very knowledgeable and professional. I’m still recovering from a work injury and I’m really seeing a difference 6 weeks later.

I’ve tried massage and chiropractic work, but it wasn’t until I broke my leg and worked with a physical therapist—who really focused on stretching—that I realized how impactful it can be. That experience showed me how important stretching is in getting back to 100%.

Before engaging with StretchLab in Glastonbury, I carefully reviewed customer feedback for this location and others. Many reviews warned that customers were often pressured or unknowingly enrolled into expensive recurring memberships. Because of this, I initially chose to purchase my sessions one at a time.
After attending for some time, the location manager approached me and offered what he described as a package of sessions. I clearly explained my concerns based on the reviews I had read and specifically asked whether this would involve any type of recurring membership. I was assured that it was not a membership, but simply a set number of prepaid appointments. I was also told that these sessions would remain valid for one year, which was important to me because I travel out of state frequently and cannot maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
Based on those assurances, I agreed to purchase the package.
Unfortunately, I later discovered that my credit card had been charged more than $400 per month on a recurring basis. This directly contradicted what I had been told at the time of purchase. I immediately cancelled once I realized what was happening.
Fortunately, my credit card company investigated the situation and was able to reverse the charges after I disputed them.
The reason I am filing this complaint now is that despite the dispute being resolved, StretchLab has recently contacted me by email claiming that I have a past-due balance for a “membership.” This is extremely concerning, as I never knowingly agreed to any membership and cancelled immediately once the unauthorized recurring charges were discovered.
I find this behavior deeply troubling and believe it reflects a pattern of misleading sales practices that have been reported by other customers as well.
One star for the Flexologists who do a fine job, and likely have nothing to do with how the business is run.

Alex is great. He is very thoughtful and engaging during the sessions. I have been going weekly for several months and highly recommend him.
