I think it’s poor policy to require previous eye exam records and insurance and allow customers to book an appointment online. It would make more sense in my opinion to require it during the booking process so, folks don’t drive to an appointment that they have to reschedule. If all the reception team can manage is one voicemail on a SUNDAY to notify a customer when their appointment is on a Wednesday ,makes me think maybe they need more support. The customer service overall as very cold, and it felt like a cramped chaotic corner. The front of the store is beautiful though. Please help your team LensCrafters

I stopped in to set up an eye exam. The location did not take my insurance so I asked them if I could get an exam and pay out of pocket. I was told I needed to go to where I had my last exam and get my records. I told them I don’t have that kind of time and just wanted an eye exam. I also explained to them that I didn’t only need regular glasses that I would be looking for sunglasses as well. I was told that I needed to do that or they would not set up an exam. I then explained to them that I have over $2,000.00 on my FSA card that I need to spend before the end of the year again I will pay. Nope. I just don’t understand how business turn down easy money that’s all. Ran across the street to Costco have an appointment next week.

I went into the store to get replacement lenses for frames I had previously bought there over a year ago. My rep Megan was so helpful. She found me an attractive budget frame and lens package that was cheaper than what I had gotten quoted elsewhere. Within a matter of minutes she helped me pick out the frames and checked my insurance info and even adjusted my sons glasses. I would highly recommend this store directly due our experience with megan. She delivered five gold star service with a knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly attitude. I would gladly give them my repeat business.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
