I went in last week to shop for sunglasses and regular glasses, and the associate who greeted me was very kind at first and gave me space to browse. He was helpful and even complimented how the frames looked on me. At checkout, I had two pairs of glasses to take advantage of the 15% off promotion, they were currently running. When I went to pay i planned on using two gift cards (i got them from family members for Christmas), and the associate said he needed to check with his manager. He came back and told me I couldn’t use both gift cards on the same purchase—I’d have to split them between the two pairs, which meant losing the discount. I was so confused since gift cards are essentially cash. When I questioned it, he told me, “you can’t use both—it’s like double dipping,” which I’ve never heard before. As a busy mom of two, it took a lot to carve out time to try and get my new glasses (I have been trying since Christmas.) I ended up leaving without buying anything I was so bummed. If this is truly store policy, it should be clearly stated on the gift cards. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years and have recommended Warby Parker to tons of family and friends, but this experience was really disappointing and makes me hesitant to return.

I have been to this location about 5 times now and highly recommend it to anyone that needs new frames, an eye exam, or both!! I won’t go anywhere else!
