Nose pad broke off. They replaced the broken pad. I asked for an extra pair in case it happens again. They said they wouldn't give me one and that I need to come down because it's a "service they provide". I explained it was very inconvenient for me to drive down in case another pair breaks when I can easily change it at home. They were replaced with a cheap generic set. I paid $700 for the frames but they refused to give me a $1 pair of pads?! Yeah I could get more on Amazon but why should I have to?

Wonderful experience at LensCrafters. Marissa is very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and kind :) Bought the most beautiful glasses today--gemstone colors on the arms of the glasses and Marissa helped me pick them out. Very happy.

FYI, they’re not the only authorized Cartier reseller in CT. They also don’t do a great job of showing what’s actually in stock on their website. Instead, they push you to make an appointment for frames you might not even want or be interested in. On top of that, they can’t order specific frames from Cartier, so you’re limited to whatever they happen to have … which you can’t even see beforehand unless you book an appointment. They also won’t service frames you purchase directly from Cartier by putting prescription lenses in them. Basically, they only work with what’s already in their store, and they don’t display it online. You’re honestly better off going to ProVision, which is also an authorized Cartier reseller. You can confirm that on their website, and they will put prescription lenses into the frames for you.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
