  Horrible laughable customer service. Was rushed out of having my good RxCard ready as someone between insurances so had to pay 3x the amount because I was told "if it takes longer than 2 minutes you'll have to wait half an hour for our lunch." As someone who works in healthcare and had countless hour+ late or missed lunches this is not acceptable. When you're serving others for their health you come second and I doubt the woman who was helping me would have even gotten close to starving after an extra two minutes. Absolutely rude and selfish. Go get a work from home or desk job if you can't handle patients with even a semblance of patiences.

  *Amending the original review... This pharmacy has had a complete change in staff and corresponding positive change in professionalism and level of service. I now recommend them to others* A medical "professional" should never take out their frustrations with staffing or policy on patients, especially when giving an injection. Poor needle placement and control, resulting from poor impulse control, can result in significant pain and bruising, lasting several days.

  Have to normally use CVS unless I need a one time rx, then I can use Safeway and this was my first time using Safeway’s pharmacy. They are so professionally and empathetic! Desirae, the pharmacist, filled my rx immediately because she knew I was in a lot of pain and discomfort and Claire who checked me out was so nice. Wish I could use this pharmacy on a regular basis. Thank you!
