However, I recently stopped in to see about updating the prescription on a few pair of single lens glasses (not sunglasses). All previously purchased through Pearle. The quote without insurance was $329 for one pair! Out of curiosity I stopped at the optical department at Costco. The cost without insurance was $90 per pair. I was shocked at the difference and feel the pricing model at Pearle is ridiculously excessive. I will NOT be back.
