- RKRandella KnightNov 1, 20251.0Due to the fact that I have untreated cataracts, which I was well aware of based on prior diagnosis by Omni Eye Center and a 2nd opinion from UC Health. I needed more time to deal with other health issues and was told waiting a few years was fine by both of these facilities. UC Health especially told me to have my lens prescription updated and deal with eye surgery later. I was told though by the eye specialists at LensCrafters that the updated lenses they make me will probably be no good. I went ahead and ordered them anyway and spent over $500.00. This will be the last time I get glasses from LensCrafters -- I will shop around more next time. But for now I don't feel very good about it all and I hope that despite their negative opinions, I am able to see a little better for about six months as I have quite a bit of reading and paperwork to accomplish at this time including several years of tax work.
