  The pharmacist thinks she’s a doctor and refused to fill my pain medication. Absolutely terrible experience with the King Soopers pharmacy. I recently had surgery and my doctor prescribed additional pain medication because I’m still dealing with significant pain and swelling. The pharmacy refused to fill it, claiming it was “too early,” even though this was a new prescription ordered directly by my doctor. Instead of contacting my doctor, explaining options, or showing any compassion, they simply refused and sent me away while I’m recovering from surgery and in real pain. It’s unbelievable that a pharmacy thinks they know better than the physician actually treating the patient. Patients recovering from surgery shouldn’t have to fight with a pharmacy to get medication their doctor says they need. The lack of care, communication, and basic empathy here is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else if you actually want to be treated like a human being instead of a problem.

  Heroes. Every time I’ve ever called them to try to get a prescription filled same day, they’ve been able to do it within the hour.

  Pharmacy twice told me that a prescription that they had been filling for a year told me that the insurance was no longer covering and to go somewhere else then said out of pocket would be 2 grand yet went to another king soopers they had no problem with the meds or the insurance really find that odd.

  Waited 4 days for my post surgery meds for pain. They continued to tell it was ready and was not. Horrible customer service.

  A majority of the time they don't have what you need and constantly blame the manufacture, although every other pharmacy in town has it. They argue about your prescriptions generic vs non, there is a difference when it comes to seizure medications and weather they started on name brand or generic no matter what this pharmacy tells you. They also say they will contact the doctor for you and then they don't, which is really dangerous when it involves seizure medications.
