Pure Barre has quickly become one of my favorite workouts. Every class challenges me in the best way, and I can see how much stronger I’ve gotten since I started. The instructors are warm, motivating, and always make you feel supported. I also appreciate how easy it is to check the schedule and book classes online—the whole process feels seamless, and their policies are straightforward. One thing I’d love to see (purely personal preference!) is the ability to view how full a class is before booking. For certain class styles, a little extra personal space makes the experience even better for me. That said, whether the room is packed or just a few of us, Pure Barre always delivers a rewarding, uplifting workout.

Wow. I’ve been coming to this studio for a while, so I know they have a policy where you can’t show up past 5 minutes late or else they won’t let you in. I was rushing to make it there on time after a 30 minute drive from where I live. I called about five minutes before class start time to let them know that I was running a little late but would be within the five minute window and the instructor who answered told me there was no late entry offered for this class. I said I wish someone would have told me so I could have changed my plans and she said “we don’t manage that through class pass” and then hung up on me instead of offering some type of resolution. I was so surprised at being hung up on, I thought maybe the line got disconnected and maybe she would prop the door open or something. Because professionals don’t hang up on someone who isn’t ranting or cussing at them. When I showed up (2 minutes after class start time) I saw the instructor through the glass and she looked at me and then turned her back and refused to let me in. I waited for a few minutes to see if she was just waiting for a natural break to open the door but she didn’t come. I am floored that this is how a studio who tries to project positivity would treat a fellow human. Now I’m out the money I paid for the class, and I wasted an hour of my day driving for nothing.
