If I could give ZERO stars I would. I’ve had an appointment scheduled with them for almost two weeks. They took my insurance on the initial call and said I was covered. I had to go to this location which was a 45 minute drive. I even called this morning to ask a couple questions and confirm my appointment. They said I was good to go. I get there (had to drive through a snow storm no less) and was told I’m not covered. They’ve known since my initial call I wasn’t covered but said I was. I worked for a dr office and we ALWAYS verify insurance at least 48-72 hours in advance. The woman at the front desk was SO rude. I was sobbing b/c I was in so much pain. She didn’t say she was sorry….they should’ve contacted me…nothing. Just stared at me and watched me cry. Then she told me what self-pay would cost, did give me potential other clinics (per my request…didn’t offer it). Just ridiculous. I normally would never leave a review like this except I could’ve been seen by someone else. Instead…I’ve been suffering for NO reason except for incompetence!

I guess everybody has unique experiences, but after reading some of the reviews, I can say mine are definitely different than the one star! Kim Walker has been tenacious at helping me uncover sources of pain. After trying nerve blocks in my low back with limited success, I decided to try my neck and have an amazing experience of an incredible decrease in pain today. I have tried many doctors, groups & therapies (chiro, message, acupuncture, etc) over the years, but nobody has delivered the solutions like this group has and I've been to many of their locations. The staff has always been nice to me, and if I ever have any questions, I don't have trouble reaching somebody .

The last doctor I had (Alison Smith) was absolutely the worst and caused me to have to cancel a flight I had booked to visit my sick Nona in Italy costing me $1,365.89 for the flight I had and another $1856.22 for my new flight. She was extremely insensitive, none caring and completely RUDE! I hope in the future Mountain view pain center starts hiring people who actually give a damn about people who have chronic pain. She refused to fill my pain medication 4 days early and was trying to make me come back on the 4th of June (today) to see her again, I let her also know my sister was a pharmacist and I was texting her as she kept leaving out of the room to talk about me in a disgusting way as I heard the whole conversation she was having with someone else right out side the room door I was in, that my pharmacist stated they can authorize the fill and add notes that it was filled earlier for vocational reasons. In the past I have NEVER had an issue filling my medication early for times I have left the state. So because of this I will be leaving Mountain View pain center and will be taking legal action for the money I have lost and spent!

My experience was excellent. I found out that the doctor I had gone to wasn't at the location I usually go to when I had my next appointment. I found his new location. I will follow him. I like the technique of Dr. Larry Elwell which gives me relief from my pain. The new location is bright, spacious, great view and very friendly staff.
