I left another pharmacy because I needed a specific brand (not generic) and the other pharmacy was not able to provide. I made it very clear to Safeway's pharmacy and they said they would be able to fulfill that prescription with that brand. When you pick up your prescriptions, they drop them in a bag -staple it shut with your receipt and ask if you have any pharmacists questions. You don't actually see the bottle or the packaging. I didn't and I tucked it away until it was time to use it. Unfortunately I was stockpiled a little and had a couple of prescriptions tucked away. I trusted that they were doing the job that they said they would do. I was wrong to trust them. Then the pharmacist (Jeremy). actually told me to go back to The original pharmacy I transferred from and refused to give me my money back... rude and unprofessional.

This has been my go-to pharmacy for over a decade. But it's gone downhill in the past few years and I've been putting up with it, but I've reached the end of my rope. I need my meds to breathe and to treat my autoimmune condition. The latest incident was the last straw. I requested a refill of my nasal spray online on 5/3. A few days later I got a text saying my prescription was ready. When I went in, I found out it was my pills that were ready so I asked about the nasal spray. I was told it was on backorder until 5/15. Okay, I had just enough to get me through but expected to hear something after the 15th. Nothing, so I checked the status on 5/17 and the refill wasn't even in the queue. I had to put in the request again. By now I'm almost out of my spray but didn't get a text it was ready until I was already asleep. I go in this morning since I had to get groceries and the computer is being rebooted. After waiting several minutes, I left in frustration and had to come back. With gas being $4 a gallon, I prefer not to waste it by combining my trips. The staff can also be crabby, rude, and make customers wait while they're on the phone or doing whatever. There's no sense of urgency. Sometimes they're not even ready at opening time. I know working retail can be demanding (yes, I've done it), but pharmacists and techs get paid above average or fairly decent. I expect better and more customer-centric service. Unfortunately, I'm done with the pharmacy. I will still buy my groceries here, but I transferred my prescriptions (which without, my respiratory system is severely congested) as of today. I hope for everyone's sake this pharmacy gets back on track.

Why is reviewing my Medicare plan every year important?
Reviewing your Medicare plan every year is important because Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) can change annually. These changes may affect your coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and provider network. By reviewing your plan during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, you can ensure it still meets your healthcare needs and budget—and switch plans if necessary.
