The doctor’s office was pleasant and professional; however, the retail store experience was very disappointing. The staff were not attentive at all—you have to chase them just to get assistance with glasses. I was mostly left to try things on by myself, and they barely provided any information about what was covered by my insurance. What was most concerning is that they charged an insurance protection fee without clearly informing me beforehand—it was quietly added to the bill. There was also no clear communication about when the glasses would be ready. Every time I called, I was given a different status update. Overall, the lack of transparency and poor communication made this a frustrating experience. I am disappointed and will definitely not be returning.

Even though my glasses took over 3 weeks to get here, the manager was still VERY friendly and helped as much as she could.

The staff are very customer focused. In particular the Assistant Manager (Nicole) is probably the best supervisor/ ass mngr I have seen in 40 years as a Mng Consultant. Quiet, incredibly compitent and very focused. Truly the best eye store in Fort Collins and the eye doctor who does the free exams is also the very best.

Will Lichendicks snapped my frames when all I needed was a simple repair with the screws. He offered to buy me different frames out of his own pocket but the assistant manager wouldn’t let him. Instead of doing her customer service job, she informed me of a “policy” that they are not responsible for damages. She actively tried to make me angrier after destroying my property and then tried to hide behind some unconscionable policy. I have no back up and now I need a new eye exam. I can’t drive without glasses and my daily function is hindered until they are replaced. Every attempt to contact a district, regional or anyone of importance leads to nowhere. This company’s entire customer service department is operated by AI and I am now pursuing legal action against them. Whatever positive review was recently posted about the manager is an obvious attempt to repair her reputation. You are horrible at your job.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
