I highly recommend Johnny at ProActive Physical Therapy and Performance Center!! From day one, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my recovery and performance goals. He took the time to thoroughly assess my movement, explain what was going on, and build a personalized plan that made sense for my lifestyle and activity level.
What really sets Johnny apart is his attention to detail and his ability to balance rehabilitation with performance training. He does not just treat symptoms. He focuses on fixing the root cause and helping you come back stronger than before. Every session felt purposeful and structured, and I always left with clear guidance on what to work on between visits.
If you are dealing with pain, recovering from an injury, or simply want to improve strength and mobility, Johnny is the person to see. Professional, motivating, and results driven from start to finish.

A very positive and very informative 8 weeks of building strength conditioning.
My primary care provider referred me for physical therapy to address pain and limited mobility in my shoulder and hip. As my wife had previously been referred to Proactive Physical Therapy I made an appointment with Sara Truelsen. As someone who worked in healthcare for more than 25 years I could not be more pleased or impressed.
Sara approached my concerns in a manner consistent with her Postural Restoration Institute training. This means she started by assessing my current state of maladaptive (think path of least resistance) neurologic, motor, ambulatory and postural deficits cultivated by years of not really paying attention. I was given daily reminders and exercises to gently nudge me into healthier and more global use of my anatomic strengths and limitations. I have a long way to go but am confident our work together will allow me to end in physical, mental and neurological connections that are for more healthy and enduring.
Personally I found Sara to be intelligent, energetic, informative and highly motivated to help me. Her enthusiasm and positivity are infectious and she cares deeply about improving the overall health, stability, and endurance of her clients. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to get to work with her.
Last but definitely not least, when I have an appointment at Proactive Physical Therapy I spend the ENTIRE appointment with My Therapist. The whole 30-45 minutes! It is not like this at all Physical Therapy offices where visits are often more brief and spent with assistants, interns, and/or techs. This is a big deal.

My time with Sara, at Pro Active, was an A+ experience. I now have the daily routine I need to maintain a healthy lifestyle at 82!
Sara’s expertise and presence are exemplary.
I feel secure in knowing my injury has had the very best physical therapy available, from Sara.
I needed to find a center for Physical Therapy to help me recover and rehabilitate my “new knee” after total knee replacement surgery. I feel so fortunate to have been referred by a friend and one of the staff at Orthopedic and Spine Center of the Rockies to Proactive Physical Therapy. You get lots of time with the physical therapist, not just their assistant or tech. They are realistic while encouraging and push me hard but listen when I am in pain. I have been working with Johnny Griffin DPT who is knowledgable, kind, methodical, and supportive. I owe a lot of my terrific recovery to Johnny and the team at Proactive Physical Therapy. And they have done a terrific job of working with my Medicare insurance and scheduling needs. I recommend them highly!
