- BLBambi LeighDec 5, 20255.0I had the best experience one could have in a bad situation here. I had a missed miscarriage that didn’t pass naturally so I had to get a surgical procedure. I am self pay. The hospital quoted me 5500$ for the procedure so I called planned parenthood who offers the same procedure for 665$. I was so scared and obviously devastated. Everyone was so kind and supportive. I opted for the surgical procedure and it was so painless and quick. I felt very supportive and safe here. And while I hope I don’t have to come back and have a future healthy pregnancy, I will forever support and advocate for this organization. It is so needed for the community.

Consult communication excellent: Notified 3 cramp points during insertion 1)clamp, 2)measurement 3)insertion. Offered cervical bloc for pain management. Offered PAP, HIV & STD testing. Insertion communication excellent: Clear communication with every step. 2 staff in room: provider & support staff. Offered heating pad. Speculum. Offered Stress Relief Squeeze Ball. Pap. Cervical bloc. Clamp. Measurement. Insertion. Provider did an excellent job of managing patient expectations. After procedure offered juice. I practiced deep breathing, visual imagery, meditation before. Measurement and Insertion I squawked but the pain was short lived. Went back to work (office) immediately after. Thank you <3
