The pharmacy manager is incredibly rude and condescending. She clearly doesn't have good customer service skills, and because of the way I was treated, I've moved my prescriptions elsewhere. It's pretty bad when a national chain with a bad reputation is the better option.

Fresh produce, shelves always stocked, great prices, digital coupons, amazing and friendly staff! $150 here buys you 3x as much fresh food and varieties vs places like sprouts that has moldy produce and slim Pickens for 3x more money. Thank you to all the employees for always having the shelves stocked, being very kind and having digital coupons that makes it a no brainer where to shop. 💯🙌🙏

This review is primarily for the pharmacy staff: one woman specifically (40s, blonde-ish hair) who works behind the counter of the pharmacy has routinely been blatantly rude, condescending, and essentially ruined every experience I've had coming to the pharmacy. Unfortunately, because of its proximity to both work and home, and because Kroger is the one place that carries a drug by a specific manufacturer that my insurance will cover, I'm stuck returning here again and again. Generally, I wouldn't allow one piss-poor interaction with one staff member sully the entire experience of a pharmacy, but this particular woman has succeeded in doing just that. I've dealt with her at many different hours and during many different exchanges (I'm pregnant and am continually in and out of the pharmacy for various health reasons). Even in the morning, when I assumed that just having started a new shift at work would have her more bright eyed and bushy tailed to begin, she has managed to raise her voice over mine when I attempted to ask a question preventing me from receiving the answers I needed (I simply ended up googling what I needed rather than speak to a pharmacist). She has rolled her eyes, copped an attitude, and even clapped her hands loudly and offensively to get her point across as if I was some dim-witted, hard-of-hearing small child who required that sort of discipline to listen. Each time, I've somehow managed to remain calm and collected, as I can't justify one inconsiderate jerk being responsible for raising my blood pressure even more only to threaten the wellbeing of this baby inside of me. I'd report her to management, but one customer's complaint, I know, really won't create much change. So, each time I deal with her and am reminded that her demeanor threatens to ruin my morning/afternoon/entire pregnancy, I take comfort in the fact knowing her existence must be so miserable that her one outlet is the harmless number of unsuspecting people who walk through King Soopers doors and are made to deal with her nonsense. As soon as I'm through receiving the prescription I can really only get with Kroger while I'm pregnant, I'm kissing this pharmacy (and the entire store) good-bye.

I actually received both friendly and hostile service in the same visit. The pharmacy assistant was very nice, and the pharmacist was awful. He refused to explain what was going on with my prescription in clear terms, which seems like an important part of his job. He just glared at me and repeated the same thing over and over, which was useless given that I'd already told him I didn't understand what he was saying. King Soopers should get rid of their employees who behave this way.
