Pure barre is just what I need to start and/or finish my day! The different formats it provides allows me to never be bored during a workout! I feel constantly challenged even after almost 1000 total classes at a PB studio! The friendly faces and community keep me coming back.

I have been coming to this studio since it opened. It is a very uplifting community with amazing teachers and classes. Over the past few years there have been a lot more class times added and a variety of formats which makes it so much easier to attend and find the right work out. Pure Barre Castle Rock is an excellent place to work out!

While the instructors and classes are great, everything else about this place is a disappointment. The studio is cramped with no lockers or showers, and the customer service is frustrating at best. The owner shows no genuine care, and handles fees in an unethical and inflexible way. Very disheartening given the potential this place could have.

I came to this studio for 1 month, but unfortunately had to move out of state super suddenly and that's when things got worse. I understand the contract they had in place, but I also understand that the owner of the franchise can make decisions based on exception on what fees they're to charge. It was not fair that I had to move out of state, where no PB locations were and still had to pay for a month worth of fees where I never got to go to their classes. When I called to pay off the balance, the owner of the studio, Lanie, answered and the way she communicated with me was very unprofessional and I honestly felt like she had absolutely no care in the world about me. I asked that she let me know the balance before she charges me, and she's said "I already charged you." Then she told me the total was for $448, and I was BAFFLED. How can being overdue 1 month get me to this total? She said she would send me an email 3 times with a receipt, and didn't. I had to call them again and she sent it while we were on the phone. Then she began saying "what do you want me to do, because I really don't care. I don't handle any of this, collections handles this - but we didn't send it to collections." By far the most confusing conversation and interaction I've had with anyone in the fitness industry. I've worked for a franchise myself and at several fitness companies, and interacting with the owner of this location has been an absolute nightmare. She asked me to send her a copy of my credit card statement, even after she said she couldn't do anything about it -- so now I have no idea if she's even going to fix this. All this to say, I loved the instructors and the classes. They're the reason why I kept coming back, but this 1 interaction with the owner has been horrible, and I'm glad none of the other employees have spoken to me the way she has.
