But my experience with Dr. Eric Lomas and his remarkable staff was ‘perfect.’ With a history of PTSD, I have difficulty with surgery and anesthesia. During my consultation with Dr. Lomas, he listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and offered several options. Still, I headed into the surgery with some trepidation,—not about pain or discomfort but about possible flashbacks. Years earlier, I had oral surgery that was a disaster. This time, however, everything about the oral surgery was perfect. I am very grateful to Eric, Nicole, Sarah, and Jess for their patience, understanding, and the extra care required to keep me grounded. A Note: Before finding Dr. Lomas, I interviewed two other oral surgeons. Neither asked questions nor made eye contact, leaving me with zero confidence that they cared about the person as much as the task. From the first phone call to Dr. Lomas’ office, it was clear the focus was on ‘care of the patient.’ They are ALL superstars.
