The staff gave false information about policies regarding contacts. They did not listen to my husband when he said he didn’t need to change his prescription for contacts and they did it anyway. He realized THEIR mistake when he got home and they told him to try them out and if he wasn’t happy to bring them back. Since it was a new prescription that he did NOT ask for, he went to the store to return them and they charged him extra for an open box and did not accept the return. We later called corporate and the store to discuss the experience and when we went back to the store to negotiate getting money back or, at the very least not be charged extra, the front desk started calling 911 to get police involved and treated my husband like a criminal. We left the store with contacts that do NOT work for his needs and extra unnecessary charges that were not clearly set out at the beginning of the services.

This was my first time coming to this location and I loved the service. The place itself was very clean and organized. All the staff were very kind and helpful. Lacey was very welcoming and friendly. Checking in was fast, I had a video call with the doctor, the doctor was able to do my eye exam, change the lenses, without being physically there which was pretty cool. Ive never seen that before. After my eye exam I got to browse and pick a pair of glasses without feeling rushed. Julasy and Blake were very helpful, super kind and also friendly. Overall I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely go back and recommend this location!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
