Explained that I already had a 2-week old eye glasses prescription and that I needed only a contact lens fitting. They quoted $138. I made the appointment. When I arrived the next day, they quoted a price closer to $200. I explained that I had called the day before, told the person on the phone that I had a 2-week old eye glass prescription, that I had explicitly asked what they charged for a contact lens fitting, and that the person I'd spoken with the day before told me the price was $138. The receptionist said the $138 price was to get a prescription for eye glasses. She apologized that someone had given me bad information, but refused to honor the price they quoted. I left and found someone else to do the fitting.
