  I have been a Target Optical patient for many years, with good luck until now. I called last week and asked them to email me a copy of my prescription. She said I would have to come in and pick it up, because their email is not encrypted for hippa. Ok, I get it, but why isn’t it? So, today, I make the 1 hour drive to Target for the sole purpose of picking up my prescription, and waited for a while for the 1 employee to be free, only to be told I can only get my prescription when the eye doctor is present. This is so frustrating, that I will probably not be coming back.

  My wife had had been dealing with this location for a month and a half. After her exam and finding out what her prescription was it took only 3 days to get her glasses. Mind you this is 300 dollars later. Come to find out it’s the wrong prescription so she sees the doctor again. Now she has to wait longer because it was all wrong. Little over a week hours by and her glasses come in. What do you know it’s all wrong again. Come to find out the tech was not doing the eye measurements correctly. So here we are 3 strikes and you should be out. But my wife decides that they should have it this time. Now here we are 2 weeks later and a day after the promise date and no one has any info on where these glasses are and if they are even right. This place is a joke. Friendly staff definitely but I hate say it but they have no clue what they are doing and no professional custody to check on things that get screwed up like this. The one star is for being friendly. Make sure your staff is trained correctly and learn curtsy for you’re patients.

  Optician is very polite and nice. She’s very thorough and takes her time to ensure she gets all your questions and options needed. Explains the difference between each procedure and why one is better or what difference it makes. My family had a great experience. Izzy the store manager is always spectacular. Everyone is friendly and professional. The lab, that’s another story. I’ve had to return glasses due to their errors. Eye-line’s were off on progressive lenses. It’s a huge inconvenience after waiting almost 10 days to get the 1st pair. The target optical keeps me coming back, but the labs are pushing me away.
