Changed Pharmacy’s from Safeway on Peoria & Mississippi, to King Soopers Pharmacy at 1155 Havana St. I did so with much reluctance, considering every person I dealt with at Safeway was helpful and kind. I had no choice but to switch, because the price difference for the exact same meds is obscenely higher at Safeway. No matter what discounts were applied, it was still over $50-$100/mo more to fill at Safeway. When I read the reviews for King Soopers, I was dreading the experience. I’ve dealt with terrible pharmacies before. To my delight, King Soopers Pharmacy is EXCELLENT!!! They have surpassed my expectations!! I even waited to write this review to be sure my experience wasn’t a fluke. My first time filling my script there, they didn’t have my med in stock and called to let me know. It was already 6pm, and the person I spoke with said let me call you back. I was expecting to hear from her maybe the next day, but she called back in less than 5 minutes and told me I could pick them up at another King Soopers that night! These past couple months, they’ve have had them ready two hours earlier than the projected time, get this…because they know what time I have to be at work!!! Catherine is the manager I speak to most, and she truly goes above and beyond and deserves recognition! Bo, also great!! Very personable, knowledgeable, and found discounts that saved me more than expected, that he made sure would be entered in the system in case he isn’t there. I’ve had nightmare experiences elsewhere, this King Soopers Pharmacy has been nothing short of excellent.
