I have been a loyal Club Pilates member in Chicago for 2 years and absolutely love my home studio, which is why this experience was so disappointing. While visiting, I brought my sisters to try Pilates for the first time. We attended the free 30-minute intro class with Robin, who was fantastic, welcoming, clear, and encouraging. Afterward, I specifically asked her if the Center & Balance 1 class the next evening would be appropriate for beginners, and we were reassured that it would be. We each paid $29 to sign up. Unfortunately, the Center & Balance 1 class experience was very poor. When we entered the studio, the instructor (Dwight) told my sister her reformer had been adjusted for a tall person but did not initially offer to change or adjust it for her. As first-timers at this location, we didn’t know what that meant. Eventually he did come over to make adjustments just before class started. Throughout the class, Dwight’s instructions were vague and lacked clear demonstration. My sisters did not understand common cues like “prancing” or “mermaid position,” and there was no effort to guide or correct them. I found myself helping them follow along. Also the class structure felt disorganized. At one point, we sat idle on the reformer while Dwight talked about his AI music playlist. It felt like paid class time was being wasted. When TRX straps were introduced (which my sisters had never used), they were positioned high on the springboard and we struggled to bring them down and adjust them. Dwight did not come over to assist, instead another class participant came over to help us and show us how to adjust the straps. Dwight was just standing at the front of the class watching. After speaking so highly about Club Pilates to my sisters, I was honestly embarrassed that this was their first full class experience. Instead of encouraging them to join, I left feeling I couldn’t confidently recommend this Pilates studio. This experience did not reflect the level of instruction and service I’ve consistently received at my home studio. Be warned: DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS CLUB PILATES ARVADA. PLEASE READ THE OTHER LOW STAR REVIEWS, THEY ARE RIGHT!

Terrell is the only good teacher at this studio. I don't know if she owns this franchise or not but if she does, she needs to pay more attention to who she hires. I have an unlimited "passport" membership which means I can go to any Club Pilates in the country. I live in Fort Worth and the Club I go to is unusually amazing. The instructors are excellent! engaged, well trained, detailed in their instruction and their classes are varied. Meaning they use the reformers, the chairs, the TRX, and the boxes. Multiple instructors have a cult following. The instructors pride themselves on being creative, varied, knowledgeable, and making the classes so enticing that all classes are full. But my daughter and her family live in Arvada and we visit frequently. The Wadsworth location is most convenient for me. But going forward, regardless of the long drive, I will go to Boulder where the classes are better. The Arvada studio has instructors who are the absolute opposite of my home studio. The instructors are disinterested, not engaged, boring, not creative, burned out, giving the vibe that they just want the class to end. And it is obvious. They are just going through the motions and doing the least amount they can to just finish. It is so much of a drag that you never want to go back. Think monotone, basic, instruction if there is any instruction at all. Many "instructors" ( if you want to call them that) will just do mundane, routine moves on the reformers and only the reformers. There is no effort to use other equipment or mix up the routines. And it is obvious they are bored themselves. There is absolutely no enthusiasm to speak of.

I've been taking Robins Center & Balance class on Mondays. I love how engaging she is through the class. Robin takes the time to correct your form and reassures members that it's ok if you need to modify the class. I highly recommend joining, you will love it!

After ankle surgery, I froze my Club Pilates membership for 5 months and tried to extend it by phone. The rep struggled to find my account but said she’d handle it. I wasn’t informed of the 5-month freeze limit and assumed it was extended. I planned to return once recovered, but by mid-August I was getting daily “past due” notices—even though I canceled online on August 4. I later found the cancellation policy allows penalty-free cancellation with a doctor’s note for disability, but no one mentioned this—even after I offered to get one. Instead, I kept hearing “there’s nothing we can do” and was asked for payment info. I understand the late fee was due to billing on 8/1 and my card being canceled for fraud. I called again and was told paying August’s fee would resolve it, but I was charged again in September. The manager is unreachable and only emails sporadically. My surgeon says I need 4–6 more months to recover. It’s been physically and financially draining, and I feel ignored and bounced around without real help. The stars are for how lovely the instructors are, but this has not been the experience for me.

They are not well trained (do the same routine ever time) and limited on giving individuals the proper attention they need. There are a few good instructors but they are clearly frustrated with the club there. Their contract is full of loop holes that benefit them. If you dispute anything with you bank they charge you extra fees!!! You also can only go to that club unless you pay more!
