- JGJulia GalbraithOct 15, 20251.0My mother was approved for hearing aids and when we tried to set an appointment the woman was very rude, and yelled at my mother, saying "You're not hearing me !" Do better, clearly you are there for dealing with the hearing impaired.
- MLMark LightcapSep 18, 20255.0The moment you walk in to New Wave Hearing Aids in Chico, you are greeted by a receptionist that immediately puts you at ease with her welcoming, genuine smile. Then the audiologist, in my case Mei Ling, takes you back to the testing area. I had several questions for Mei and she did a great job answering them. For example, she explained the ins and outs of tinnitus and said that after being fitted with hearing aids, some patients find their tinnitus goes away or lessons. Mine did the former and it's such a relief. I was very impressed with the testing procedure and the state of the art equipment and technology. I was referred to New Wave Hearing Aids by a friend and I am so grateful to him for sending me to such a professional, caring organization. I couldn't be happier!

I forgot to catch her name but she is a short brunette woman, and I don’t usually take the time to do these kinds of things but when I say she goes ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR US. So patient and sweet, and thorough. My grandma is very nervous in situations and she makes the visit so smooth. I also wanted to mention what I had seen personally, about New Wave, Im not sure how schedules work but she is always there and alone. Really seems like they can't keep staff, the lab manager is running that place singly handedly I truly think she deserves a raise! A blonde woman made us uncomfortable about talking about ice coming to pick people up, I just thought it was uncalled for and very unprofessional to speak on those things while guests are in the office, the lab manager is the only reason we didn’t make a report or make an issue if Im being honest.
