I am actually so confused about the bad ratings. This is the best pharmacy I have ever used and I think they have done amazing handling the extra load that was thrust on them when Rite Aid closed. I am not sure why people would think there wouldn't be some snags in the process. The staff here has always been professional and competent. Of course they get overwhelmed some times, have you seen that line? It is literally the only pharmacy (outside of the hospital) in town now. Thank you Safeway Pharmacy team for hanging in there! Kudos

Switched to this pharmacy a few months ago. It’s been rare when the staff is pleasant. Picked up a new RX yesterday and the older woman asked if I need the pharmacist to talk to me and I said yes, sure. She then turned to the pharmacist and said I don’t think she understands can you talk to her… and rolled her eyes. Last time I checked this was your GD job?! I also asked her for an ice pack for my medicine as it’s suppose to be refrigerated and I have a 50 min drive home and she had an issue with that…
Switching pharmacies, not worth the rudeness and unprofessionalism.

Absolutely the worst run-around I have ever dealt with from any pharmacy anywhere!!
Rite Aid in Willits is closing and automatically transferred patient prescriptions to Safeway Pharmacy in Willits. Even though this is a transfer from another regulated pharmacy in the same town, Safeway Pharmacy demanded a full transcript of my minor daughter's medical records before they would fill her prescriptions.
This requires that I sign a release form from my daughter's provider. I went home and waited for the release to arrive via email.
One of the mandatory fields on the form is the pharmacies email address. When I called to obtain the email address, I get bounced to three separate people on the phone after being out on hold to wait to speak with each person to whom I have to tell the entire story to once again. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!! I finally got to speak with a pharmacist only to be told they can't give out the email address unless I contact Safeway Corporate!
After several hours of jumping through hoops and having to stand in line 3 times to check the status of my daughter's prescription and being told a different story each time I'm no closer to having resolution or having a simple prescription refilled.
No one at Safeway Pharmacy in Willits offered any assistance or solutions, just additional steps and hoops to jump through only to be told they won't provide their information that I must enter on the form that THEY DEMANDED I complete before they would fill my daughter's prescription.
I am absolutely DONE with Safeway in Willits!!!
