  We are so grateful that we found Home Instead, they provide top notch caregivers who actually care about the people they are caring for. We were faced with the situation where we needed to find someone to care for our mom in our home, we couldn't imagine the obstacles, until it was too late and we had hired the wrong agency. We contacted Home Instead and they managed to have someone start immediately. We never had to worry about coverage, if someone called out, there was always a replacement to step in. They would cover weekends, holidays and evenings, anything we needed. They are a very thoughtful company, if our mom was in the hospital they would visit and check on her. They invited her to join their company holiday party where she was able to enjoy seeing all of the caregivers that she had spent time with over the years. You might be able to find an agency that charges a little less; but, let me remind you, you get what you pay for. We want to personally thank Home Instead and all of the caregivers that have taken care of our mom over the years and for the past year, specifically Sagy and Arlene, you are truly appreciated.

  Our family is very thankful for the care team at Home Instead. The team that answer the phones and take appointments are always friendly, professional, fair and flexible with the needs presented by our mom’s numerous appointments. Although the majority of the caregivers have been a good match for my mom, Shannon stands out above the many that have assisted her . My mom says that Shannon treats her with genuine respect and kindness. Therefore, my family would like Shannon to know that we appreciate her outstanding work!

  Home Instead Whittier has (HIW) been a lifesaver for me! My husband and I were still working when my father first needed help. HIW gave me a wide-ranging choice of caregivers. Every candidate was reasonable and competent. There were also caregivers available 24/7. HIW was also very helpful and cooperative in providing information I requested. HIW has the wide ranging experience with elderly care that allows them to provide wonderful suggestions and guidance. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Home Instead Whittier!
