  I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Nambiar for an annual checkup. The visit consisted of reviewing my health history questionnaire and ordering laboratory tests. She didn't do any physical exams or additional clinical assessment. I was billed $800 for this visit. Dr. Nambiar does not use standard preventive visit billing codes, which leads to significantly higher charges for patients for what is otherwise a routine annual exam.

  I had the worst experience yesterday the 9th of January 2026. I had a suspected cardiac issue that took me to Los Robles on Wednesday the 7th with BP at 180/122. Was later discharged and was told to follow up with my doctor. Luckily I had an appointment that was previously scheduled the next day. To my greatest surprise the doctor did not check anything or ask details of my ER visit, rather she asked that I schedule to come back in a week’s time. Not even a pretend to check my heart rate nor any other thing . At least pretend. I tried to explain what took me to the ER and how they UCLA doctor messed up my medication that resulted in me having headaches always for months now and eventual ER, she was only interested in me coming back in a week’s time. So why waste my time in the first place. Definitely looking for a new practice.

  $508 billed for a 20 minute office visit where no services were performed is criminal. Avoid at all costs! Followup: Further nightmare. I contacted them as they suggested below. No response. I paid a portion of the bill in December and when I went to pay more in January, it said there was 'no balance' on the account. Wow, I thought, they forgave the exorbitant bill! I checked again earlier this month, 'no balance'. Cool. Today I receive a DEBT COLLECTION letter. Truly monsters at UCLA. I don't know why any doctor would associate with them. Way to cause your patients more suffering.

  Love coming here for blood work - fast ( no wait) and staff so nice. Probably best kept secret in the area
