Awful experience, no care at all, very stuck up staff and customer service, hospital has been awful and crappy ever since ucla health took over. very money hungry and lying hospital now.
Prior to UCLA health it was West Hills Hospital and they were amazing! Once UCLA acquired it, things went down the drain. The wait time is ridiculous. The way they set up patients in the lobby is abnormal. There is no primacy. You just sit in the lobby for hours while they call you back and forth for tests. Seeing the doctor takes the entire day sitting in the lobby. If you are in pain, don’t come here.
Horrible experience, my husband who is a cardiac pt was left in ER waiting room with abdominal pain level of 8 we kept asking for help til he actually had a heart attack, I asked er Dr about heart enzyme he said it's nothing. Their Dr's after admission didn't bother to talk to family. Ot and Physical therapy not prescribed. Miserable awful stay. Dr and few nurses are so arrogant that would not deem it necessary to communicate with family. No compassion no empathy.
PLEASE DO NOT go to this hospital . I’m not sure what UCLA doctors have been put here , they are incompetent. They won’t follow what your own UCLA doctor has recommended to have done . This goes from the doctor in charge of your admitting, nurses and especially the GI doctors on staff. Poor communication then try to blame a patient for not being supplied the right medicine to take .
Go anywhere but there .
