I had a series of poor experiences dealing with 1 person at the Safeway Pharmacy. He is a pharmacist and I believe he is the manager (name is Phil or Bill I think). I find him to be rude and sarcastic. One time I was filling a prescription using a GoodRX coupon and tried to show him on my phone. His only comment was "I cant read that" - very rude and somewhat sarcastic. I honestly dont understand how a pharmacist that works with computers and small pills all day cant read an IPhone ProMax screen. The next issue is I have been filling pet medications at the safeway pharmacy. My dog has a lot of pain and anxiety issues. I have been working closely with my vet to resolve the issues and part of the treatment is medication. Every time i have the perscription filled he gives me a hard time. This last time he refused to fill the med until he spoke with the vet. This was 4 days later. I have way too much to do with work, family and managing a senior dog to have this added complication. I go to a competent experienced vet who does not need to be second guessed by a pharmacist trained only in Human medicine. My resolution is to stop using the Safeway pharmacy on Ygnacio Valley Road for any of my perscription needs.

The staff is very friendly and always check to make sure if you are or aren't familiar with the medication.

Very rude Tricia 😟 Every time I want to used Western Union Service. She doesn't want to do it and totally a bad reaction. I hope managers pay attention in this kind of "customer service".
