Went to my first and last class at this location, unfortunately. My instructor, Allison, was wonderful! Truly one of the best classes I’ve taken at Corepower. Allison was very sweet and encouraging, and an overall great teacher. She is the only reason this review has any stars. I don’t frequent this location and was going with a friend who comes often and has never had a problem with staff in previous visits. Upon arriving, we walked towards the locker rooms, as my friend usually does, only to be rudely confronted by a brunette member of the staff, who spoke to us in a very unkind and snarky tone. She told us we needed to check in before heading to the locker room, which would be totally fine and understandable, however, the way in which she spoke to us was extremely rude and unpleasant as well as completely unnecessary. This interaction left us speechless as we would never expect to be treated this way in a place where we pay to have a membership. It was very jarring, and I am not writing this review to be dramatic, but we left our class today disappointed that this interaction happened. It caught us very off guard and was unprofessional, and I wish I had said something in the moment but it was shocking to be spoken to in that way, as if we were children in trouble, rather than grown adults. Very disappointing.

I told my friend I hated core power. Well I guess you really do have to keep trying them because one will restore faith in your yoga practice.
hate is a word I don’t use lightly. I’ve tried many locations across the US and they all are too commercial for me. They hurt my body my shoulders and I feel they got so far away from what it’s like to connect breath to movement until I went to Aaron’s class.
If you go to yoga in the area don’t fall for the business name. You must go. Aaron brought in the theory, the breath, he built up the sequence and brought us don’t softly. My mind was expanded with his knowledge and wisdom he shared.
His class was inspiring for my personal practice. His tone and cadence didn’t sound fake and he really knew how to pause and not fill every second with words. He knew how to say the most with just enough guidance and not overwhelming the mind.
Do yourself a favor go prove yourself wrong about yoga and about core power being a chain and take his class.
My body is still smiling.
