  An excellent Dermatology organization. Very professional office and staff that take patients well being very seriously in a welcoming and very caring atmosphere. I have trusted this organization for my skin year for years and they have always exceeded my expectations. Dr Ashchyan was fantastic explaining my area of nasal cancer, the procedure he was going to utilize and what I could expect during and after the surgery. I highly recommend this organization and Doctor “ ASH”!

  As someone with a Scandinavian skin tone, I have had several Mohs surgeries in the past and have experienced many different providers. Dr. Jeffrey Bortz and his staff at Golden State Dermatology far exceeded every expectation. Dr. Bortz is fellowship-trained and has performed more than 30,000 of these procedures—and that level of mastery truly shows. From the start, they treated my appointment with the utmost care, walking me through every step of the operation before we began. Throughout the surgery and post-op, the team checked in repeatedly to address any concerns. For any prospective patient needing a Mohs specialist, I would highly recommend asking for Dr. Bortz specifically.

  Dr. Grace Sohn has performed multiple basal cell removals and Mohs surgeries for me.. her demeanor is polite and her work left on visible scars after healing. Everyone at the office has been very helpful.

  Great! Had a small area on the top of my head that would not heal. Biopsy came back positive. Had a procedure to address the area. Had the stitches remove four days ago. You barely can tell the area that Dr. Zhuang worked on. I'm very pleased
