  Several years ago, when my husband and I relocated to Ventura, we were disappointed with the dentists we initially encountered. Thankfully, a friend recommended Dr. Fisch, and through that recommendation, we found our forever dentist. Dr. Fisch consistently provides comprehensive dental care and takes the time to explain our dental issues clearly and thoroughly. In addition, whenever a procedure is required, he personally calls in the evening afterward to ensure that recovery is progressing well. That extra level of care is always greatly appreciated. I recall having a dental issue shortly before leaving town. Despite a very full schedule, Dr. Fisch made sure I was seen so I could travel without concern. Even though he accommodated me on short notice, I was seen promptly at my scheduled appointment time. As with all of his patients, he does not keep people waiting. While I am very pleased with the quality of care I receive from Dr. Fisch, he would not be able to provide such excellent service without his incredibly talented staff. His team is responsive, kind, and truly an asset to the overall patient experience. As I said, Dr. Fisch is my forever dentist.

  AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was a patient at Ventura Center for Dental Health for more than 20 years. Earlier this year, I learned of a serious diagnosis noted in my medical record when the office manager shared my HIPPA-protected health information spontaneously and without my consent. VCDH staff never mentioned this diagnosis nor bothered to provide appropriate treatment. Shortly before that happened, I was inquiring about an unexpected, non-consensual charge to my account, and must have unintentionally said something that upset one or more of the staff members. From then on, I was treated deplorably by the staff, who demonstrated a total lack of ethics, professionalism, and common decency. For example, the office manager and patient care coordinator both engaged in surreptitious patient abandonment (highly unethical and likely illegal) by repeatedly lying about having no appointments available. I immediately suspected their dishonesty, but the office manager continued to lie when I asked if there was any issue. When I confronted the patient care coordinator after acquiring proof of their lies, the response was "I just do what I'm told."

  Dr. Fisch has been our family dentist for over 40 years. My daughter comes from Los Angeles and my son from Santa Barbara as no one would consider being treated by anyone other than Dr. Fisch. His office staff is so lovely and professional that you think you are happy with your experience... but that is before you are treated by Dr. Fisch. Using the most up to date possible equipment and technology, he brings his extensive training, professional skill, his warmth and his compassion to every moment of treatment. My niece once had an emergency and he squeezed her in on an already busy day. After the procedure she told me, " I think I have higher self esteem now that I had a dental crisis and I was treated by Dr. Fisch." We feel so fortunate to have him as our dentist!!

  This is a great dental office. I was recommended to this dental office by two of my coworkers who have been coming here for decades. Everyone on staff is very professional and very kind. I’ve only had really good experiences since I’ve been coming to this office.

  I have been seeing Dr Fisch and Dr Mizraji for over 35 years and have always been impressed with their expertise, professionalism and courtesy. This is carried down through their entire staff. On top of that, they have state of the art equipment and are always up to date with the most current types of procedures and processes in the dentistry field. Please go see them for a 5-star — excellent experience!
