They send me out to get my blood drawn. No one gave me any instructions on that. It turns out I did it completely wrong and my test results are pointless. Doctor told me to do something and I asked the staff how to do it and they just threw a card at me to tell me where to go. I definitely needed more guidance and it has led to wasting my time and wasting my money. The only thing I got from that was bad test results. At the same time, it is seemingly impossible to communicate with my doctor. All they want to do is send me messages via UCLA house platform. Which is fine but they never reply back. What's the point of a two-way communication if it isn't to wake communication?

Reported fraudulent medical debt for collections and the "debt" is not a year old - something that hypothetically they are not allowed to report for a year. They are greedy and service is substandard. My Insurance has paid them the amount they requested and still they come after me. Additionally, my doctor missed some major signs in my bloodwork that was caught by my gastroenterologist who then referred me to the appropriate specialist. I recommend any other facility in Santa Clarita and will never go back.

PLEASE AVOID THIS provider!! It's a shame that this is associated to UCLA...I can't believe this happened... I was charged around one thousand dollars for an online visit just to get a prescription refill and speak with my primary physician, who has been my doctor for the past four years. Unfortunately, his previous clinic was shut down, and he had to move to UCLA Health. The virtual consultation lasted only five minutes. When I confronted the clinic about the high charge, they claimed it was necessary because it was my first visit and I have chronic conditions like high blood pressure and high cholesterol. However, all I needed was a refill! Of course the insurance didn't cover it and I got hit with a $650 FOR ONE ONLIVE VISIT as out of pocket. This feels like fraudulent practice and abuse.

I love UCLA. BUT... I want share with anyone thinking of going to this office for the first time about how they treat their patients. I was 1 minute late over their grace period because I mistakenly thought the appointment was the time I walked in and they told me I could not see my doctor. I had a previous appointment but the doctors office called and asked if I could reschedule it and I happily cooperated. But after being there 1 minute later then they cannot see me. I all my years I had never seen such unprofessionalism and lack of respect towards a patient. Yes if I was repeatedly late or missed appointments then I would understand. I would recommend picking another office instead and this office with this bad admin and management .

Dr. Malchira deserves 0 stars if possible for not even properly listening to me during my last physical, she spent less than 5 minutes overall with me, despite me telling that from now on I want to be seen by a UCLA endocrinologist to make it easy for me to get Thyroid biopsy( all I need the endocrinologist is for to do an office visit to discuss ultrasound results and to get a biopsy) . I wanted Dr. Malchira to order my thyroid ultrasound along with yearly mammogram so both can be done in same visit. She never sent the order for the thyroid ultrasound ( I only found out yesterday when called the scheduling department), I contacted Dr. Malchira’s office and ask them to send the order for ultrasound and all I got was a reply from someone at her office that as Dr. Dang of Facey is my endocrinologist so he should be ordering the ultrasound. This is such a blunder as in the past the primary care physician ordered the ultrasound and not the endocrinologist as I have a very big thyroid nodule. In the past when I was seeing a facey primary care doctor than it was always the primary care doctor ordering the ultrasound. I did mention this to Dr Malchira during my physical and as was busy with some personal stuff so didn’t get to call the scheduling department till yesterday and found out about Dr. Malchira’s blunder. Rather than owning her mistake she put it on me and that it’s my headache and responsibility. Also even on my asking during physical she didn’t check anything and said as I will be seeing a gynecologist so she don’t need to do it, she didn’t even touched me, all she did was order labs so I wasn’t sure what kind of physical it was to begin with. If it wasn’t for her thyroid ultrasound blunder I would never ever be writing this review as my actual physical with her was on July 5th, 2019, more than 2 months back. Now I am realizing that she didn’t even cared to listen to me and all she did was to order labs. Other than Dr. Malchira I always had great experience with all UCLA doctors and would love to continue with UCLA. I will like a new primary care physician but in the meanwhile do need my order for thyroid ultrasound to be sent along with Mammogram so both can be done on same day and I can start seeing a UCLA endocrinologist so all my doctors are within the UCLA but Dr. Malchira has left me hanging, I have sent a complaint to UCLA as well so hopefully it will be resolved, fingers crossed.
