  I recently used Home Instead to provide in-home care for my aunt, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support and compassion we received. From the very beginning, Shirley, the general manager, stood out as incredibly caring, attentive, and truly dedicated to making sure my aunt’s needs were fully met. She took the time to understand not just the medical and practical requirements, but also my aunt’s personality and preferences, which made a big difference. The caregivers that Shirley selected were professional, respectful, and consistently kind. They provided not just physical support, but emotional comfort as well, helping my aunt feel safe, respected, and at ease in her own home. Communication was always clear, and I appreciated how responsive the team was to any questions or changes. It’s not easy entrusting a loved one’s care to others, but Shirley and the Home Instead team made that process much more comfortable.   Before my mom was released from hospital after a hip surgery, I connected with Shirley Wu, General Manager, to set up the care team for my mom. Shirley is caring, resourceful and attentive. She follows up constantly to see if there is any change in mom's needs. My mom's very happy with her caregiver, Celest. Celest is happy and easy going and look beyond mom's need. We would highly recommend their service.

  Home Instead has been a godsend to me and my family! From the initial contact I was impressed with the ongoing communication. Also, the staff that they hire are invaluable! Everyone we encountered were professional, efficient, and personable.

  We inquired their service (Union City) recently. The folks worked there were really professional and compassionate. The owner showed us that the company is licensed through department of social service for caregiving. All caregivers are employees and background checked with fingerprints (Lifescan) . There are strong processes and check points to ensure customized care are implemented properly. I was very impressed. They will be our first choice when we are ready to use home based senior service.
