I’m giving three stars because I liked that they were more preventative and did testing to look for a root cause, BUT I feel like they are not honest and upfront about the cost and treatment. I’m hoping this will help someone avoid wasted money and time. Concern #1: I met with an assistant and she would order lab tests/health tests. Every time I would ask how much it would be, I kept being told it would be covered by my insurance. I received a bill from my insurance saying they weren’t covering all of it, so I asked the girl I was meeting with about it and she said, “did you get a bill from us?” I said “no.” She said “well we won’t charge you for it. So don’t worry.” Concern #2: My questions about lab results/diet help were too complicated for the assistant I was meeting with, so I asked when I could meet with the actual doctor. She said that you actually have the join their membership to meet with the doctor. It’s $1500 to join and then $500 a month, plus the cost of your visits. I feel like I should’ve been told up front when I was a new patient that I wouldn’t be able to see an actual doctor in the clinic. Concern #3: After multiple lab tests costing way more than I was expecting (like $400 for each test, some were covered my insurance and a normal co pay amount. These were sone outside the office at quest) I decided to stop meeting with them. I felt like we had done all the testing and gone over the results, and they couldn’t really help me further. Then four months after my first visit, they finally decide to send me a bill. When I asked about costs they never told me, but once they realized I wasn’t coming in anymore, they decide to start sending bills. I asked the billing department why I was getting it so late, and they said they just don’t want to overwhelm patients. I think they just don’t want patients to realize what everything is costing them until it’s too late. Update: I added another star than my original 2 star review because the bills to them ended up being less money than the app was showing. For the services I received directly from the Lam Clinic, I think the cost was worth it. I wish they were more informed about which lab tests are actually covered by insurance, because that ended up costing me hundreds of dollars more than expected. But for their services in office, the payments were reasonable. I liked my initial scans/labs and visit but after that I felt like I wasn’t getting new or helpful information for my circumstances and she just kept wanting to add more and more obscure testing.

! The Lam Clinic is remarkable. Their functional medicine approach focuses on uncovering the root cause of health issues rather than simply treating symptoms with medication—and that makes a world of difference. Every care provider I’ve worked with is knowledgeable and well-informed in functional medicine. Brittany and Jenny, in particular, have helped me tremendously. I am deeply appreciative of the care, guidance, and genuine support I’ve received from the entire team.

I’ve been a patient of the Lam Clinic for under a year. I cannot explain how much better I feel. They’ve healed my gut. I have struggled with GI issues for 20 years. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re feeling off. You won’t regret it.

They don’t do returns and only store credit after you purchased “ supplements” from them. When I see the doctors here yes she is nice but this company is a scam. They only sell you many “ supplements “ instead of really heal your body. They didn’t let people know that the test kit and their stuff is non refundable , only in a month. If you want to see them you have to register to become their “ membership “ to purchase supplements that you think will help your health but it doesn’t.

This place is disingenuous. They are all nice enough. They want to drain your insurance. The practitioners read from a teleprompter. If you have an actual question- forget it- or you can pay $500/ month to see the doctor. When she ran 15 minutes late to my appointment, I was very nice. Half way through my labs, she said my time was up! I said wait- you were 15 minutes late, why is my time up? She said I needed to reschedule! I was in Shock. The medical assistant, I know was in shock as well. She helped me reschedule for a week. To my surprise, the doc was on the video. I thought oh great- she can help me since so much the practitioner said was confusing and some out right contradictory. Well, no. She was there to fire me. She said we weren’t a fit. Well I had my health questions. She was short, flippant and cold. The exact opposite of what I expected. I hope this business starts to take people’s health and emotion more carefully. I hope they record these sessions. They have a lot to learn. They have the sales down, they are courteous. In medicine being dismissive is dangerous and I hope not what they learned in school. Get back to basics- like kindness, empathy and compassion. This totally lacks when it doesn’t go their way. I guess the old saying of the client is always right has now gotten into medicine. Beware.
