UCLA Torrance Pediatrics – Honest Review
The location is a bit congested, and parking is paid, so make sure to get your ticket validated—they validate the first hour. The building itself could definitely use an update. There is a pharmac, a cafe and restrooms conveniently located on the first floor, which is helpful.
Our first visit was honestly a bit off-putting. There were patients smoking out front, and the lobby smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was pretty unpleasant—especially for a pediatric office. At first, it felt a little sketchy, and we were hesitant about continuing care there.
That said, we didn’t want to keep hopping between doctors’ offices, so we decided to stay with this Torrance location. Over time, the experience improved.
The office is located on the 6th floor. The front office staff are nice, though they could be a bit more welcoming. One positive is that there isn’t much of a wait time—they take you in fairly quickly and start vitals right away, which is appreciated when you have a child.
They also have small touches like stickers and lollipops for the kids, which helps make visits easier and more positive for little ones.
Overall, while the building, patient rooms, and surrounding environment could use improvement, the efficiency and consistency of care are what have kept us here.
