If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I don’t usually post negative comments .
On March 25, 2026, I had a very frustrating experience at this Quest Diagnostics location after my insurance required me to switch from Labcorp to Quest. I chose this site because it’s the closest to my home, and I had scheduled an appointment in advance for 1:30 PM. I know I arrived much earlier than my appointment, but I got there at 9:10 AM hoping they might take me sooner since the facility was completely empty.
After checking in, I waited 10 minutes with no acknowledgment—no greeting, no one at the front desk. I waited another 10 minutes before finally asking if someone could assist me. When a technician came out, she told me they could not see me until 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I explained that I had been there since 9:10 AM and asked if they could take me earlier since there were no patients. She said the system wouldn’t allow it and that I’d have to wait for someone to miss their appointment.
There were two technicians on site, and despite clear gaps in their schedule, they chose not to help me. At 10:05 AM, the 10:00 AM patient was taken back, even though there had been a 15-minute window where I could have been seen. At that point, one technician was still free.
I continued waiting. The 10:10 AM patient showed up but didn’t have their lab order ready, so instead of taking me—someone who was already checked in with proper documentation—they skipped ahead to the 10:20 AM appointment. That patient also didn’t have their order ready and was still being processed, yet I was still not taken back. At this point, I had been waiting over an hour.
It honestly felt like I was being ignored intentionally, possibly because I spoke up earlier. Despite doing everything right—arriving early, having my paperwork ready, and even canceling my 1:30 PM appointment to recheck in as a walk-in—the system still showed my later appointment time, and I continued to be overlooked.
Finally, at 10:30 AM, another technician named Gabriela (who was not the original person I spoke with) took me in and mentioned it would be done as a “courtesy.”
I’ve never had issues like this with Labcorp. They consistently demonstrate professionalism, kindness, and respect for patients’ time. This experience was the complete opposite. Based on this, I will be changing my insurance again because I do not want to deal with Quest Diagnostics in the future.
