  My aunt is very blessed with some awesome caregivers from Comfort Keepers. I am very thankful for all of them. Amanda is the caregiver that has been with her the longest. In talking with my aunt, she mentioned that Amanda is always two steps ahead, plans and solves issues that have or will come up. She always shows up on time with a willing attitude to take care of my aunts needs. Amanda is very respectful of my aunt and her need to maintain her independence. They always have a discussion about the agenda or task that needs to be accomplished for the day, as well as preparing for future things that will be happening in Amanda's work week. She takes my aunt to all of her doctor's appointments, and she knows what questions to ask that will help her navigate health concerns and ways to improve and maintain healthy living habits. She makes sure the house is always stocked with the items needed. I like how Amanda will tidy up around my aunt's home, do laundry, etc. She likes to be busy, always helping where she can. Amanda has an excellent bedside manner and she puts the needs of my aunt first, very gentle and responsive. As my aunt is getting up in age, Amanda likes to encourage her to sit up, walk, and exercise as much as my aunt can tolerate. Her notes that she leaves for other caregivers are very detailed and that is helpful to those who are caring for my loved one and the doctors as well. I believe Amanda has so much to offer others and I could go on about her talents. Our family is very glad to have her.

  I would like to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for Rosa, the caregiver for my father. Rosa is absolutely amazing and a shining example of what a dedicated caregiver should be. She is truly a great asset to the Comfort Keepers agency, and her love for her job shines through in every interaction she has with my father. Over the years, we’ve had a few different caregivers, but none have come close to Rosa’s exceptional care and dedication. She not only ensures my father’s needs are met but also goes above and beyond by anticipating his every move and making sure he feels encouraged, engaged, and empowered to grow. Rosa consistently demonstrates kindness, respect, and compassion, creating an environment of trust and comfort that allows me to feel completely confident and at ease with her caring for my father. Rosa’s consistency and unwavering commitment to excellence set her apart. She not only takes care of my father’s physical needs but also prioritizes his emotional well-being, making sure he is mentally stimulated and actively engaged in activities that bring him joy. In my opinion, Rosa is the best caregiver at Comfort Keepers, and we feel so fortunate to have her as part of our lives. I wholeheartedly nominate Rosa for Employee of the Month.   I have used Comfort Keepers (Torrance office) several times and they are outstanding. The office staff is very friendly and helpful and the caregivers are, as well. My latest caregiver was Brandon and he was very attentive, making sure I actually got in to my appointment and then made sure I was home after and comfortable and able to be on my own. Thank you to all.
