  I had never heard of this pharmacy and still they just started texting me about a prescription with specific information. This was surprising given I had never communicated once with this pharmacy, especially not to consent to text messages about prescriptions, insurance, etc. Today they called me and asked me if I wanted the prescription shipped, I said yes, to which they replied 'well it has to be shipped because it's not even coming from us but this other pharmacy you've never heard of in San Diego'. I don't understand why they would ask about shipping if they knew they had to ship it because they don't even have the medication they're already texting me details about without even confirming that it's actually me at this phone number. I was then told by the female I spoke with today that this other pharmacy that I've never heard of will now begin texting me about shipping/status. I asked to opt out of text messages, to which she replied 'so you don't want to get text messages about your prescription?'. Bizarre concept, really. Keeping in mind this wasn't an automated text message they first sent me without confirming it was me, this was a very specific and detailed text message about a prescription. The female then sat on the phone for an unusual amount of time speaking not a single word, apparently just listening to me breathe. I spoke up again thinking I must be on hold just for her to rattle off my address and tell me 'they'll ship it then'. If you care about your privacy, this is not a pharmacy I would use. The woman I spoke to was condescending and impolite. And this is the first time I've ever had a pharmacy I've never even heard of start texting a phone number they've never confirmed for a customer they've never had. And for everyone thinking at least they have four stars, I would look at how many of the reviews over the years seem to be an almost identical copy of other reviews. The verbiage is consistent and looks like either reviewers were given some sort of incentive or as if these are false reviews entirely. They seem dedicated to letting everyone know this place ships very quickly when the otherwise more detailed reviews consistently note the rudeness of the staff, the inconsistent shipping times, and the unreasonable pricing.

  Finally got my dermatologist prescription thanks to Apotheco Pharmacy! 🥹 No other pharmacies were willing to fill my prescription — it kept getting transferred from Whole Health Pharmacy and Accredo pharmacy for two weeks. Apotheco confirmed my prescription the same day it was sent and shipped it out the very next day. So relieved and thankful for their quick and reliable service!
